No Reason = The best reason for flowers <3

The Best of Flowers in Singapore

A fresh flower bouquet that’s just about to bloom brings some much joy into my home and my heart, it’s almost unreal to describe. I’m a frequent shopper at A Better Florist. This bloom crew is almost like my family, and I think everyone who makes me that happy is my family. The bouquets that I order from my home are so breathtaking and different; it’s really hard to give them an adjective that will do them justice.

Each and every one is different. For example the Spring Breeze reminds you of a fresh, bright, spring morning, while The Allison is every aspiring and romantic woman’s dream. While it’s hard to describe all of them with one word, I can safely say that they are always fresh, perky and beautiful. That’s something they all share.

The Spring Breeze

Although the flowers are my favourite, I do also get fruit baskets, especially on New Years and Christmas. They customize my fruit basket so that it doesn’t break any Chinese New Year traditions. I also get hampers from them, due to the same reason – personalization. They haven’t said no to any of my orders so far, and I’ve ordered a graduation hamper and a hamper for my mother-in-laws birthday.

Other things they offer are: gorgeous flower stands which serve great as wedding décor or as entrance décor, if you really want to be extra, funeral flowers so that you always have appropriate yet beautiful flowers to express your deepest condolences and sympathy, along with pampering bundles and flower bunches. You can literally grab a baby shower gift and a  get well soon hamper, all in the same place, no matter what kind of an event you’re going to or what the occasion calls for. I really enjoy this kind ofconvenience, especially because you can order online.

They’re the best florist in Singapore in my opinion also because they have never failed me so far. They always deliver on the same day and I never have to wait for anything. The flower delivery Singapore you can expect from A Better Florist is swift, reliable and you really get to trust them, as they deliver on the same day, with no excuses, even when you’re out and about and what flowers delivered to a mall or something like that. Even when they’re supposed to be on holiday, just like everyone else, they are working.

The best florist in Singapore keeps it fresh, new and interesting and convenient for you. It’s so easy to get pampered by their service, not to mention their famous flower deliverySingapore has come to love so much. But what if you’re not in Singapore? Let’s say you’re in Hong Kong or Dubai? Well then, you’re in luck. They might be fairly new, but the word about A Better Florist spread so quickly that they now have a Dubai flower delivery  and their own Hong Kong flower delivery. They have respective websites for each, that you can visit and order your flowers or hampers to any location in the prospective places. If you’re a regular online, you’ll find plenty of sources that regard them as the best florist inHong Kong and the best florist in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

While I haven’t tried their services there, I’m pretty sure that they maintain quality outside of Singapore as well and that they really do have the best flower delivery in Hong Kong as well. I take comfort in knowing who offers the best flower delivery in Singapore, and I am delighted to recommend it to all my fellow Singaporeans!

[Iridescent Beauty] 10 Uses of Coconut Oil you didn’t know about!

Hollaaa everyone! I’m back with some beauty tips you might want to know & tell your friends about! If you didn’t know already, Coconut Oil is rich in fatty acids, the beneficial effect of which shows itself both when taken by mouth and used externally.  It’s naturally antibacterial and antifungal, coconut oil for skin is an excellent moisturizer, it can penetrate hair better than other oils, and, well, it smells like cookies. xP

Skin softener. Use the oil to soften skin on elbows, heels, and around the nails. Especially if you have dry skin, coconut oil is a very good moisturizer!

Body scrub. Mix a tablespoon of coconut oil and a tablespoon of ground coffee. Coffee is used as an abrasive agent, but you can replace it with finely ground sea salt, sugar, grits, or coconut shavings. If you have some on hand, add in five drops of your favorite essential oil or some pure vanilla extract for a scrub so fragrant you’ll want to eat it.

Nail hardener. To deal with brittle and dry nails, apply the oil to the nail plate. This is really useful for me, as I paint my nails very often, my nail gets more brittle & easier to chip off. Coconut oil helps a lot!

Lip balm. The oil moistens and rejuvenates the skin of the lips, heals cracks, and prevents their further appearance. I use coconut oil as an alternative to Vaseline. Both are just as useful but I love the smell of coconut oil more. =D

A dandruff remedy. Coconut oil moistens your scalp and cures dandruff. Apply it to hair roots, and leave overnight. Another way to use it is to smooth a tiny amount of organic coconut oil onto your ends of your hair to add a little shine, or on flyaways if you have dark hair. Remember that a dab will do you: Any more and your hair might appear greasy. Less is more people!

Eye cream. Before going to bed, apply coconut oil around the eyes. If you do it systematically, you’ll soon notice the reduction of wrinkles in this area. Skip those expensive over the counter brands.. go natural!

Moisturizing lotion. This product moistens your skin and takes care of it better than any other oil. Wipe your face every day with a sponge moistened with the oil. To avoid skin stretching, move along massage lines. P/S: Remember, Less is more!

To remove eye makeup. Yes, coconut oil even works on waterproof mascara! Put a little of the coconut oil on a cotton ball and gently sweep it over your eyes, paying attention to your under-eyes as well. The oil does a great job breaking down waxy, inky eye makeup, and leaves the delicate area hydrated, too. Once you’re done, wash your face as usual.

As a cheekbone highlighter. Nothing perks up a tired face like a little highlighter, but you don’t need store-bought products to achieve the same effect. Simply sweep a small amount of organic coconut oil on top of makeup and leave it alone. It looks like your skin but more glowy!  which is why many natural makeup brands use it as a base ingredient in their formulas.

To shave your legs. Conventional shaving cream is an expensive cocktail of chemicals that you don’t need to get a nice clean shave on your legs or underarms. Coconut oil, on the other hand, is inexpensive, naturally antimicrobial, and smells divine. Plus, its skin-soothing properties will leave your legs looking hydrated (but never greasy).

That’s all for the uses of coconut oil for beauty! Stay tunes for part 2 where I give more uses of Coconut oil. If you are interested in getting one, I manage to find one selling with 40% discount off. You can check it out here.

Remember, less is more. Hope you enjoyed this post. Cheers!
